There is such group of people in Athens, they barely speak English, they barely be seen on the street, they barely communicate with this com- munity, but they are still part of Athens, they are living and working here, they are immigrant workers.

Chinese immigrants are the largest group of arrivals a year into United State. And Chinas has replaced Mexico as the top country of origin.

The first generation of immigrant workers is always like Yong Cheng. When he first came to America by illegal immigration at 2002, the only job Yong can find is cooking in a Chinese restaurant because of the language problem. He has to work almost 12 hours per day, sometimes even 16 hours. He has no insurance, and no holidays. After work, he is already really tired; there is no time for him to interact with the environment around. He can hard- ly integrate into America society. The only reason he keeps working hard and stay here is because his children could have the chance to live here, taking better education, and integrate into real America culture. At 2010, he got the green card, after 8 years when he first came here.
